YMCA of San Joaquin County
Annual Campaign: Forever Grateful

ANNUAL CAMPAIGN

The YMCA of San Joaquin County has been the leading nonprofit committed to strengthening the community by connecting all people to their potential, purpose, and strength for over 150 years. We pride ourselves in being able to assist our community with their needs, whatever they may be.

COVID has changed everyone's lives, so has it changed how we operate. We evaluated the needs, and popped up Distance Learning pods for school-age children in the Lodi and Aspire Unified school districts through our Licensed Care department. Our Bridge and Step Up staff transitioned to online programming for at-risk youth. Our Sports department went virtual!

As things have begun to return to normal, we find rising prices. in equipment, in rentals.. and we understand this rise isn't just in our industry, but it is affecting the people we serve as well.

$5 a month can help offset the cost of a jersey for a youth in our basketball program, or go into our scholarship fund to assist a family in need in one of our camp programs.

Community partnerships mean a lot, but people like you help us thrive. Would you honor us with a donation this holiday season?

Help us strengthen our community. Donate to the Y - For A Better Us(tm).

Help us keep our promise to serve the community by making our programs available to everyone, regardless of their income, background or ability to pay.

What is a better us?

A chance for everyone to thrive.

In the U.S., the zip code you're born into can determine your destiny. Where you live can affect your education, your success, your health, and even your hopes and dreams.

At the Y, we believe everyone deserves a chance. That's why we offer programs and services to give everyone the opportunity to succeed.

Your gift makes a positive impact right in our community. Every year, approximately 200 kids are able to participate in Y programs thanks to the support from supporters like you!

Your support helps the Y deliver on our commitment:

  • To nurture the potential of youth through building confidence at camp, character through youth sports, life-saving skills in swim lessons, academic enrichment in safe after-school programs, or foundational skills and values in our child care programs

  • To improve the community’s health and well-being by providing enriching programs for youth that promote healthy living and social responsibility

  • To give back and support our neighbors by empowering people with the resources to improve their lives and connect and contribute to the community

  • To offer programs and services to children and families who need financial assistance
